Alumni

SJon' Coleman

S'Jon

SJon’ Coleman was born and raised in Danville and is a 2005 graduate of Danville High School.

“The Boys & Girls Club means a lot to me. When I was young, it was one of the only positive places for kids my age to go. It was a place where I could go and be myself. I learned about my strengths and weaknesses. I grew not only physically, but in other areas as well, like being confident in making the right choices.”

SJon’ was formerly a Program Assistant at the Club, but is now working as the Art Instructor. “I really enjoy working with the members. I love to see them progress after I have worked with them”.

He now attends Danville Area Community College where he is studying business and working towards an Associates Degree. His favorite quote is,” Someone once told me that education is something that no one can take from you once you get it”. He hopes to one day own his own business.
