Licensed Food Service Staff
The Boys & Girls Club of Danville is looking for a licensed food service staff to help with our after-school dinner program. The M-F position would consist of 17-20 hours per week (2pm-5:30pm) at the Club location. Pay up to $17/hr depending on experience.
Include preparation of both hot or cold simple meals with another unlicensed staff member, serving meals to children ages 6-18 in their individual rooms, creating a weekly/monthly menu and fill out program paperwork/forms required, ability to follow food program nutrition requirements and safety regulations, cleaning kitchen area, equipment and keep area in order daily, inventory food & program supplies, and shop for food and ingredients for program once a week.
Current food service license, minimum high school diploma preferred, ability & willingness to work with others especially children, as a team with other staff and with the Executive Director, ability to listen to, read, and follow directions, good work ethic and able to learn new skills, positive attitude & personality, and patient especially when around children.
